About

Tim Warner
Consulting Engineer

Tim Warner has experience in all facets of wireless communications — planning and design to construction and operation. His radio career began in a high school closed circuit station. He continued to work in radio and television through college. As chief engineer of public radio station WUNC, he prepared allocations studies (the old way – with graph paper by hand) to begin consulting. He was part of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s Station Advisory Service. His radio station positions included Program Director and General Manager – a broad perspective of radio station operations.

In 1991 Tim turned to full time consulting engineering. The primary focus has been FM stations – allocations studies, FCC applications, and construction.
